Incoming Staff Mobilities

Welcome to Széchenyi István University!

We are delighted to welcome all international staff members to our university.

The Centre of International Programmes and Alumni (CIPA), led by the Vice-President for International Affairs and Strategic Relations, offers a thorough support system for managing international academic activities.

If you are here on a mobility programme, please follow the steps outlined below to ensure a smooth and successful visit.

In the case of academic staff mobility, please follow the steps below:

1) get in contact with the responsible Erasmus Departmental Coordinator at our Institution

2) with their help find a host lecturer/colleague

3) fill out  and sign the Mobility Agreement (signed by the visitor /you/, the person responsible from the sending Institution /usually your direct supervisor/ and the responsible person from the receiving Institution /host/)

4) send the fully completed and signed Mobility Agreement, to the Staff Mobility Coordinator in the International Office, (Kerpics Kinga, kerpics.kinga@ga.sze.hu)

If you require an Invitation Letter, please indicate this in the e-mail when sending the (completed and signed) mobility agreement.

This document can only be issued by the Centre of International Programmes and Alumni.

On the last day of your mobility, you will be able to pick up your Certificate at the Centre of International Programmes and Alumni.

For administrative staff mobility, please follow these steps.

1) Contact us:

Reach out to our Mobility and Scholarships Unit by email at exchange@sze.hu.

2) Provide the Following Information in Your Email:

    • The dates of your mobility
    • The department(s) you wish to visit, ensuring they align best with your field of work

Our team will assist you in finding a suitable host within our Institution.

3) Finalize Details:.

    • The dates of your mobility
    • he department(s) you wish to visit, ensuring they align best with your field of work

4) Submit the Mobility Agreement:

    • Send the fully completed and signed Mobility Agreement to the Staff Mobility Coordinator in the International Office:

    • Please note that the host colleague will be the signatory from our institution.

5) Request an Invitation Letter:

    • If you need an Invitation Letter, please mention this in your email when sending the completed and signed Mobility Agreement.

    • The Centre of International Programmes and Alumni is responsible for issuing this document.

  • Collect Your Certificate:
    • On the last day of your mobility, you can pick up your Certificate from the Centre of International Programmes and Alumni.

    • We are located in the Administration Building, Room 103. Find us on the map.
