CILEC 2024 summer courses

The CILEC has opened its applications for the 2024 summer courses.

22nd Come2Graz International Week

The University College of Teacher Education Styria kindly invites higher education teachers and staff to the 22^nd Come2Graz International Week from May 21 – May 24, 2024 addressing the topic “Changing Landscapes – challenges & perspectives in teacher education”.

We are looking forward to welcoming many interested participants who share their expertise on

meeting and confronting challenges, inside and outside of the classroom;
illuminating new perspectives;
identifying and exploring new, innovative and progressive ways of teaching.

During the Come2Graz International Week you will participate in school visits, share and exchange your perspectives/expertise in round table talks, teach a workshop and/or take part in workshops, as well as explore the beautiful city of Graz.

II. Open International Internet Ecology Olympiad

Students of various disciplines and specialties of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and foreign countries can participate in the Olympiad.

The official working languages of the Olympiad are Turkmen, Russian and English.

To participate in the Olympiad, you must register by clicking the “Participant” button below enter participant’s information. The deadline for registration is December 3, 2023.

The Olympiad will be held on December 5, 2023 on the official website of S.A. Nyyazov Turkmen Agricultural University and on the "moodle" platform.

The Olympiad will be held in the form of individual competition.

The Olympiad will be held simultaneously in higher education institutions and all participants will be on line at the same time.

Time to complete the tasks is 90 minutes.

The tasks to be given at the Olympiad are prepared in the following sections of ecology:

- population ecology and biosphere;

- human ecology and modern environmental problems;

- industrial ecology;

- ecological monitoring;

- environmental legislation and international organizations.

A student participating in the Olympiad must solve the assigned tasks independently. During the Olympiad, it is not allowed the student talk to the partner next to him, use various literary sources and other sites of the Internet, use the phone, calculator, etc. use. A student who violates this rules will be excluded from the Olympiad.

The tasks to be given in the Olympiad will be presented by the Organizing Committee.

The wright answers will be evaluated through the software and the results will be summarized.

In the case if the students of the same higher education institution show the same result (equal correct and incorrect answers), a violation will be considered and the student's work will not be evaluated.

Only the team leader can contact the Organizing Committee via e-mail with a complaint. Complaints are reviewed by the Organizing Committee and the final decision is made by the Chairman of the Organizing Committee. This final result is not subject to change.
