The international competition - 2024 -Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov
The purpose of holding a competition of scientific and project works "The role of youth in achieving the goals of sustainable development" among students of higher educational institutions in our country and foreign countries is as follows:
- strengthen international cooperation in the field of science and education of Turkmenistan
- strengthen and expand friendly relations between students of higher educational institutions of our country and foreign countries;
- increase students' creative potential, and enthusiasm for scientific research and profession;
- create the necessary conditions to support talented youth, popularize science and education among young people
- increase students’ knowledge on issues such as food security, environmental and nature protection, and sustainable use of natural resources;
- development of student's skills in independent work and thinking in various areas of the economy, food security, environmental protection and nature and the use of natural resources in various areas of the national economy;
- to form and expand students’ worldviews of safe environmental management and environmental culture;
- attract students’ attention to issues of food security and ecology that are relevant for our state of Turkmenistan and the whole world;
- ensure that students are familiar with new technologies and scientific innovations developed in the field of food security, and environmental protection.
III. Competition rules
The competition is held in 2 stages.
Competition languages: Turkmen, English, and Russian.
Stage I (qualifying stage). A student or group of students (no more than two students) belonging to one of the 6 areas accepted for the competition must send a scientific project (application) before May 10, 2024, to the Central Organizing Working Committee by email (science.tm2024@gmail.com).
Selected works are analyzed by jury groups and sent to the next stage of the competition.
The list of research and design work that passed the II stage will be announced on the official website of the university on May 20, 2024.
Stage II (main stage). Stage II of the competition will take place from June 1 to June 5, 2024. Based on the results of the first stage of the competition, students of higher educational institutions of the city of Ashgabat at the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University and the Aba Annaev International Academy of Horse Breeding, as well as students of higher educational institutions located in the velayats of the country and abroad, will make a presentation of a scientific project in front of Central Organizational Working Commission via the Internet.
