Savonia International Staff Week 17-20 Feb 2025
Welcome to the Savonia International Staff week of 2025 with the theme
“Advocating a Global Community”
The week will have a keynote speech, various workshops by our staff and specialists under the theme Comprehensive Security, opportunities to get to know specialists in your field, in addition to some leisure activities.
The theme will be examined from various fields such as engineering, business, arts, agriculture, and social services ranging from food security to social security and from cultural resilience to water safety etc.
In addition, the week includes
- networking opportunities,
- introduction to Savonia campuses in the cities of Kuopio and Iisalmi,
- cultural activities like Finnish sauna and a visit to the Puijo Tower
- a possibility for one-on-one meetings with selected staff members
- a possibility to display your project poster during the week.
- a possibility to promote your university during a parallel student mobility event “Discover World”
