Call for Participants – E³UDRES² PhD Summer School 2026

"The Impact of Artificial Intelligence in Science and Education" 

25–29 May 2026 | Timișoara, Romania

We are pleased to invite Master and PhD students, researchers, and academic staff to apply for the second edition of the E³UDRES² PhD Summer School, organized by Politehnica University of Timișoara.

This 5-day intensive program offers a unique opportunity to explore how Artificial Intelligence is transforming science, research, and higher education — through expert-led sessions, interactive workshops, and hands-on activities. Participation & Costs

The Summer School welcomes a total of 35 participants:

1. 25 seats for participants from E³UDRES² partner institutions — free of charge
2. 10 seats for participants from other EU institutions — registration fee of 200 EUR

Online participation (morning sessions only) is free of charge for all institutions. On-site participants receive a Certificate of Completion.

Registration is on a rolling basis — early application is strongly encouraged.

Accommodation 

Affordable on-campus accommodation is available at UPT hotels (from approx. 26 EUR/night). Requests must be sent by 1 May 2026 to: contact@elearning.upt.ro

Travel and accommodation costs are not covered by the organizers. Participants are encouraged to apply for Erasmus+ mobility funding through their home institution.
