According to Slovenian legislation, all degree programmes must be held in Slovenian language; in parallel, some degree programmes are also held in a foreign language. Slovenian language skills at B2 level are required for some Bachelor’s and Master's degree programmes. You also have the opportunity to learn Slovenian. Some courses are also available online. The University of Ljubljana strives to make it easier for all international students to study in Slovenia and at the University of Ljubljana. Our international student ambassadors also help us with this - we have set a Chat with international students, where you  can get in touch with them if you need help with enrolment, studying and living in Ljubljana. The international student ambassadors also share their experiences in the video series With international students about and in our presentations for applicants.

Through other promotional activities such as presentations, information days, a video about the admission procedure, as well as participation in the virtual education fair Na koji češ faks, we aim to disseminate information about the benefits of studying at our university.
